(GASPORT)
Franklin E. Flint, age 81, passed away October 7, 2025 in the Villages of Orleans following a short illness. He was born March 21, 1944 in Clifftop, West Virginia to Howard and Georgia (Hicks) Flint, and had lived in this area most of his life.
Franklin was a retiree of GM Harrison Radiator in Lockport and was a former member of the Somerset Conservation Club. His favorite thing to do in his spare time was cut wood. Mr. Flint was predeceased by his wife Karen, and his siblings: Harrison, Howard, Jean, Shirley and Gladys.
He is survived by his sons: Scott (Patricia) Flint of Gasport, Thomas (Jennifer) Flint of Lockport, a daughter: Theresa Flint of Barker, 3 grandchildren: Serena, Olivia, Ferris as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street-Gasport on Wednesday, October 15th from 11:00-12:00pm where his funeral service will be held at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity or organization of your choice.
