Franklin "Tatie" Wayne Lewis Jr. was born June 22, 1987 to Gussie Buckley in Claremore, OK. Tatie was called home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2025 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 38.
Tatie attended Weleetka Public Schools his whole life where he was proud to represent the Outlaws in baseball, basketball and football. After graduating High School in 2006, he went on to study at the College of the Muscogee Nation. Later he would hold various jobs mainly in construction.
He was proud to be a Muscogee (Creek) Citizen and could always hear him speaking creek to anyone that would listen. As a young man he was baptized, loved to attend Sand Creek Indian Baptist Church with his cousins and could be caught often reading scriptures.
Tatie enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family & friends but mostly with his kids. He truly lived to make people laugh often at his own expense by using his own creek language but would greet everyone with "Cvhocefketos Tatie Lewis". He approached life with a playful mischievousness trait that will be remembered by countless friends and family members.
It's likely he is already charming the Angels and convincing them to join in with his off beat one of a kind dance moves.
Tatie was preceded in death by Maternal Great-Grandparents: Timmie (OKCHUMPULLA) & Luella Jackson and Rufus & Gussie Buckley, Grandparents Lorene & Kozy Buckley Sr., Aunt Nancy & Uncle Leonard Frazier, Uncles Michael Buckley & Kozy (June) Buckley Jr., Sister Dana Harjo, and Nephew Xzavier "Chebon" Harjo. Paternal Grandparents Emily & Rhamsey Butler and Grandpa Tommy "Coco" Lewis Sr.
Tatie is survived by his children Gabriel of Arkansas, Madison, Benjamin and Ally of Okemah, Carter (Biscuit) & Emery of Henryetta, mother Gussie Buckley of Weleetka, brothers Albert Harjo of Henryetta, Bobby (Gooba) Lewis of Weleetka, sister Emmy Lewis of Tulsa, Aunt Olivia of OKC, Aunt Rhonda & Uncle Gary of Weleetka, Aunt Belinda of Henryetta & Uncle Charlie of Wagoner, his Great-Uncle RJ, and Great-Aunts' Diane, Karen & Molly. His special friend Jennie Kelley & kids Alyssa, Alexa and Solomon of Henryetta.
He is also survived by nephews Jaxsen, Kozy, Asa, Dymon, Adrian and nieces Estrella & Luna. They held a very special place in his heart and never leaving them without a hug. Also he had a deep love for all his cousins but one In particular was his favorite which they are all left guessing if it was them. :)
