Franklin "Frank" C. Scott, age 69, of Greenfield, passed away December 15, 2025 at his home. He was born the son of the late Raymond D. and Jane (Kinser) Scott on October 26, 1956 in Logan, West Virginia. Frank worked hard and always enjoyed his jobs as a mechanic and as a shop foreman for Earls Trucks Sales and Service in Columbus. Frank's greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. When he wasn't with family, you could find him fishing. Frank liked to fish for small mouth bass. He looked forward for his fishing trips to Michigan. Frank is survived by his wife, Rita (Spradlin) Scott, whom he married on October 26, 1991; children, Christie (Christopher) King of Greenfield and Franklin "Frankie" R Scott of Greenfield; grandchildren, Brandy Mobley, Cody Mobley, Kayla King, Dylan King, Michael King, Ashley Scott, McKayla Long, Eldon Scott, Justin Scott, Lexi Kuntz, and Kelley Scott; great grandchildren, Emeric King, Cody Mobley Jr., Nathan King, Bentley Mobley, and Waylon Mobley; siblings, Spencer H. Gearhart of Mt Vernon, Ohio and Betty Vance of Columbus; sister-in-law, Edith Bradley of Greenfield; brother-in-law, Paul Spradlin of Virginia; and special friend, Jerry (June) Flynn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, George R. Scott, Helen R. Ripley, Teddy R. Scott, and Judy A. Phillips; and brother-in-law and best friend, Tim Bradley. Visitation for Frank will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm at Turner & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Stringtown Cemetery.
