Franklin Wall Obituary

Our beloved Franklin Edward Wall, at the age of 91, went to heaven on Jan.18, 2026, to join his beloved wife Jenny. Franklin was born and married in Syracuse, NY, the son of the late Alexander Franklin Wall and Grace Lida Wall (Steele). Franklin was an Army veteran and was stationed at Loring, Maine, Air Force Base and later joined the reserves. They then moved to Camillus, NY where he lived there for his remaining years. He worked at Sealtest Ice Cream in Syracuse NY. He then worked at Miller Brewery Co., Fulton, NY. After Miller Brewery closed, he stayed on to maintain the facilities, until retirement. Franklin by trade was also a carpenter and worked on varies projects in his lifetime. He was an artist and a cartoonist, receiving many awards. He had a love and passion for carving. His favorite was carving figurines. He was an avid sportsman throughout his life, sharing his knowledge with his family. He will be missed by many, known as the "Jack of all Trades".
Franklin is survived by his 4 children: Franklin Alexander Wall, Michael (Donna) Wall, Becky Lynn Hinds and Jessica Louise (Ronald) King, his 2 sisters: Geraldine Beauchamp and Gale LaFrance along with 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Franklin will be joining his beloved wife Jenny of 69 years, his brother, Richard Wall and grandson Nathaniel J. King in heaven.
There are no calling hours, private services were held at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay. Frank was laid to rest next to his wife in Onondaga County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Francis House at francishouseny.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
