Franklin Wendt Obituary
Mr. Wendt was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin to the late Charles Wendt and Florence Mills Wendt. Franklin served his country in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from Wisconsin State-Oshkosh. He then went on to pursue a master's degree where he graduated from Cardinal Stritch University. After graduating, Franklin was an educator in Wisconsin, South Carolina and Florida. He was known by his family to have a great sense of humor, a family man, and a person of integrity. Franklin enjoyed camping in his younger years with his wife, Penny. His memory will forever be cherished, and his loving spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Those left to cherish Franklin's memory are his wife of 61 years, Penny Seawell Wendt; children, Pamela Munster (Daniel), Patrick Wendt; grandchildren, Joshua Munster, Benjamin Munster; numerous cousins on the Mills and Wendt side of the family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Pomona Community Church with Reverend Russell Nuss officiating.
