Franklin Willard Lee Meisel Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services - Monkton on Dec. 27, 2025.
Franklin Willard Lee Meisel Jr. passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, surrounded by his family at the age of 75.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Meisel; his three children, Franklin Meisel III (wife Amanda Meisel), Erin Meisel, and Alison Meisel (husband Randy Schneider); and his six grandchildren, Owen, Lauryn, Chance, Brynn, Cambrie, and McKinlee, who knew him affectionately as Pap Pap. To his friends, he was known as - and always will be - "The Wizard."
Franklin graduated Milford Mill High School in 1968. He then went on to attend the University of Maryland. Frank worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Mechanical Engineer where he served as a mentor to many.
In his free time, he could most often be found on the golf course, riding his tractor, watching the Terps, or driving his golf cart to the local brewery to enjoy a cold beer.
He is now reunited with his parents, sister, and the many family members and friends who went before him, who helped shape the one-of-a-kind man he became.
Frank will be remembered for his sharp wit, steady presence, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. His soul and impact will live on forever as he watches over us, always guiding us in the right way - his way to do things.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to My Neighbors Foundation in his memory. https://myneighborsfoundation.org/donate/
