Frayda B. Kerstein

Frayda B. Kerstein passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, June 24th in Newburyport, Massachusetts at the age of 82, surrounded by family. Born in Freeport, NY on December 21st, 1941. Frayda was sassy and spunky, bringing joy to those who knew her.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, Richard, her daughter, Tina and son, Paul and daughter-in-law Randye, along with her beloved grandchildren, Devyn, Harry and Maxwell. Frayda's love and big personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Frayda grew up in Rockville Centre, NY, studied at Boston University and Hofstra University, and raised her family in Sharon, Massachusetts before retiring the Florida, then made her way back to Massachusetts to be closer to her family.
She loved a good book, enjoyed a nice evening cocktail, the warmth of the summer sun, and spending time with family, her grandkids, and friends.

The funeral service will be at Schlossberg Family's Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton, MA at noon on Wednesday, June 26th, followed by interment at Sharon Memorial Park.
Please join Frayda's family for a bereavement meal at The Chateau Restaurant in Norwood at 4PM. Her family asks that anyone joining them to remember Frayda's rich life wear something with vibrant colors in honor of how she loved to dress.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Tina Wells in Lancaster on Thursday, June 27th and Friday, June 28th from 4-7PM continuing at the home of Paul Kerstein in Amesbury on Sunday, June 30th, from 4-7PM.
