Obituary of Fred Joe Abeyta
Fred J. Abeyta, 59 of Longmont Colorado, passed away on October 12th, 2023 after his battle with stage five renal failure.
Fred was born on March 28th, 1964 to Tony and Della Abeyta, in their home in Longmont Colorado. Shortly after they moved to Firestone where he spent his child and teen years. He was the fourth out of five children. When he was younger, he loved going cruising with his friends, listening to music, and playing basketball. He enjoyed all sports and loved to work on his old cars and trucks. When he was 18, he moved back to Longmont, settled down and began his career as a machinist. He was a dedicated and a very hard worker, who never missed a day of work, and eventually worked his way up and became a CNC machinist.
In his early 20's he became the father to two beautiful girls, Heather and Amanda Lee. Then in his late 20's he met his first wife, Brenda Martinez and was blessed to become a father again to Shawn Abeyta in 1992, and then became a father to Natilee Abeyta in 1999. Fred was an amazing father and adored all his children from coaching little league soccer teams, to writing songs for his children, and creating so many memories with them. In 2004, he lost his wife Brenda. Years later he then met Anne Miller who he fell in love with and spent the last 17 years of their lives together until April 2023 when Anne passed away from cancer.
Fred was a son, a father, a papa, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a friend, and so much more to many. He was loved unconditionally. When he was not found working you could find him enjoying his life, going for drives to the mountains, going fishing, watching his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, and enjoying moments with his family playing guitars and singing all night long. He was a simple man who always had a smile on his face and never let anything bring him down. He appreciated all the little things in life that made it beautiful for him. He loved his dogs, especially his Mylah Mae. Always had the best sense of humor, was always going for walks, mowing his lawn, watching family feud, it was the littlest things that made him the happiest.
He is preceded in death by his father Tony Abeyta, Brenda Martinez, and Anne Miller and survived by his children Heather Lee, Amanda Lee, Shawn Abeyta, and Natilee Abeyta. His grandchildren Audrey Lopez and Carter Miller. His stepchildren David Moreno, Joshua Moreno, and Crystal Miller. His mother Della Abeyta, and siblings Tony Abeyta, Annette Abeyta Castonon, Jennie Abeyta, and Tammy Abeyta Prentice and several nieces and nephews.
Fred will forever be missed by many.
