In Loving Memory of Fred D. Beyler. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fred Beyler on February 20, 2024. Born April 20, 1938, in Hammond, Indiana, Fred was a beloved Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, and Friend. He departed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. His years in the United States Army helped to shape the compassionate and charismatic individual he became. His professional journey led him to sell Life Insurance and Long-Term Care for over 20 years where he made significant contributions and garnered the respect of colleagues. He had a passion for golf and bowling and brought smiles and laughter on the courses and lanes that he shared with friends and family. Fred is survived by his devoted wife, Claire, his children, Annette Beyler, Brooke Beyler, Sean (Julie) May and Joanne (Stefano) Laterza and his grandchildren, Daniel (Alexis) May, Kaitlin Beyler, Nathan (Rebecca) May, Collin May, Joseph (Lori) May, Briana May, Olivia Laterza and Liam Laterza. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Lou Kiger and Patty (Warren) Frees. Known for his unparalleled generosity, Fred's impact resonates in the lives he touched and the positive change he inspired, and he leaves behind a legacy of love. Fred will be laid to rest on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. committal service time with honors in the Alabama National Cemetery. Fred's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
