To sum up Fred's life into a single paragraph is impossible but here are some the highlights. He loved his family above all else. Fred was a dedicated Dad, Grandpa, Papa, and Brother who protected, guided and loved his family with steadfast devotion. On a nice day you could catch him on his motorcycle enjoying the wind and the freedom it provided. To say he loved his Redskins is an understatement Fred was an avid Dive Master, outdoorsman, and gun enthusiast. He had an awesome sense of humor and a laugh that was contagious. He was a prankster who loved to get a reaction out of people. When Fred wasn't traveling the world he loved to watch his favorite movies and tv series such as The Hunt For Red October, The Sopranos, and The Wire with a handful of peanut M&M's or a bowl of shrimp cocktail. The beach is where Fred and his family found majority of their solace and fun. Fred Brooks will be missed beyond measure and his memory will live on through us.
This obituary was lovingly written and submitted by his Son Michael Brooks and Daughter April Dentel.
