Fred Danforth Obituary
AIKEN - Fred Danforth was born July 9, 1932 in Ellenton, SC to the late Mary Danforth and John Quincey Green. He passed away in his home on September 24, 2024 in the presence of family. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday September 30, 2024 at Runs Missionary Baptist Church, (Viewing 10-11 AM) 717 Williston Rd., Beech Island, SC. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years: Sheila B. Danforth, children: Andrea Denise Hill, Mary Linda Matthews (Keith), Kenneth Danforth and Sheila D. Hall, brother, Leroy Danforth, Sr., sisters: Carolyn Green (Leon) Freeman, Josie Reynolds, Elicia Dickerson, and Marjorie Cain, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call the residence or visit JACKSON-BROOKS CHAPEL, 606 Main St., New Ellenton, SC 29809, 803-649-6123 Sunday from 4-6 PM.
