Fred Steven Evans, Jr.
May 17, 1979 – December 3, 2025
Fred Steven Evans, Jr., passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 46. He was born in Washington, D.C., on May 17, 1979, and was raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, where he built lifelong friendships and strong family ties.
Fred had a successful career as an HVAC technician, serving communities across Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Georgia. He was known for his strong work ethic, technical skills, and willingness to help others. Whether at work or at home, Fred took pride in fixing things and caring for those around him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Steven Evans, Sr., who passed away in Georgia on September 8, 2023.
Fred is survived by his loving mother, Sue A. Evans; his sisters, Jennifer Evans Apsley and Melanie Evans; his brother-in-law, Bruce Apsley; his former wife and dear friend, Danielle “Brigham” Evans; and his beloved children, Livia and Dexter Evans. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and a great-niece he sadly did not have the chance to meet.
Above all, Fred cherished being a father. He loved going fishing with his son, Dexter, and proudly watching his daughter, Livia, cheer. He was happiest being silly with his kids, dancing with them, and sharing his deep love of music. His children were the center of his world, and he loved them more than words could ever express.
Fred had a special love for animals, especially his dogs, and found peace and joy in caring for his many aquariums. He was known for his kindness, warm spirit, and many talents. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed.
A private family celebration of life will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in his memory.
