Fred Lee Frampton, Sr., 76, Glen Burnie resident, passed peacefully under hospice care early on the morning of Thursday, November 6, 2025. Fred was born on Wednesday, January 26, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Leroy Edward and Catherine Elizabeth (Ensley) Frampton. He was raised Catholic by his family growing up, but had been attending the Glen Burnie Baptist Church, which his wife was a member. Fred was a longshoreman for the International Longshoreman Association (ILA) for many years, before retiring. When he was not out on the water working, you could find him in one of two places; on the field reffing/umpiring or in the woods hunting. When rifle hunting season came, he would join his club, the Glenbrook Rifle Association to help others prepare for the season. His love for his family and friends will be greatly missed.
Fred is preceded by his parents, Leroy Edward and Catherine Elizabeth (Ensley) Frampton; and his wife of 30 years, Jane Marie (Davis) Frampton. He is survived by his children, Fred L. Frampton, Jr. of Glen Burnie and Helen Baker (Adam) of Glen Burnie; his siblings, Eva Hansen of Nevada and Bruce Frampton of Maryland; and his 5 grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, November 15th, 2pm - 5pm. Service and Interment are private.
