Fred M. Gach Sr.

Fred Gach, born on March 17, 1947, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. Fred lived a long and meaningful life surrounded by family and those who loved him.

Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army and took part in the Vietnam War, demonstrating the bravery and dedication that defined much of his life.

Following his military service, Fred spent over 60 years working as a forklift driver at the A&P warehouse in Edison, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.

Fred is survived by his former wife, Patricia Colatrella. He was a loving and devoted father to Gina Gach, Fred Gach, and Anthony Gach. He was a proud grandfather to Annamaria, Angel, Gabby, Gianna, Vito, Anthony, Christina, and Michael, and a cherished great-grandfather to Geno and Calvin. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Marie Emin.

Fred will be remembered as a loving father, proud grandfather, and great-grandfather who cared deeply for his family. His strength, dedication, and love will live on through the many lives he touched.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 12 - 2 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.
