Fred Proctor Heideman 1938–2026

Fred Heideman was a great guy who truly loved people. He always had the coffee pot on and his door open to anyone who stopped by. Fred enjoyed tinkering in his garage, especially working on old cars and airplanes. He was quick with a smile, ready with a joke, and never missed a chance to enjoy a good party.

Fred will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy; his sons: Jimmy (Diane), Mike (Roz), Mark, and Fred; and his daughters: Lori Pelton and Amy (Nick) Desmond. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Christopher, Taylor, Morgan (Dillon), Hailey (Bo), Philip (Aubrey), Collin, Markie (Andrew), Livi (Derek), Jack (Maddie), and Max, as well as his great-grandchildren Austyn, Wraith, Axl, and James.

A celebration of life will be held at 196 N. Linwood Rd., Linwood, MI on March 7th at 2:00pm.
