Fred J. Jollie, Jr. of Wallkill, a glazier by trade and most recently retired from Monsey Glass Co., entered into rest on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Montefiore Hospital. He was 67. The son of the late Fred and Nancy (Eager) Jollie, he was born July 25, 1956 in Newburgh.
Fred owned and operated his own glass business, Tallman Glass & Mirror, for 20 years in Ramapo, NY. Fred was a family man, an avid Nascar fan, and enjoyed BBQ's with a cold one on most summer days. He was a true friend and country boy. Fred was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Newburgh.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Darlene Jollie, his son, William Jollie of the Town of Newburgh,
his brother, Ernest W. Jollie, his sisters, Ellen (Jollie) Barry Lapier and Maryanne Jollie, his half-sister, Joyce Starck, grandchildren Leeann L. Jollie & Donald Mitchell. Fred was predeceased by his sister, Renee (Jollie) Woodruff,
Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Friday, January 26 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh.
