Fred Messina

Fred was a dear friend of my late father, Scott Smith. I always enjoyed dinners and cocktail hours with Fred and Ruthie when I visited with Dad. Some of my fondest memories of them include the banter between two WWII pilots debating who flew the best plane (Fred was always certain it was him). Many wonderful meals were spent at the New England Fish House. When my dad passed in 2017, Fred still sent messages now and then checking in on me and my family. He was a wonderful friend to my dad, my dad's partner Kay, and myself. I will miss Fred's presence and sense of humor dearly. Sending love to Fred's family during this difficult time.
