Fred Ruch

Fred Ruch, age 88, of St. Augustine, passed into the loving arms of his Lord Jesus on December 19, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Stewardson, Illinois to the late Martin and Leatha Ruch. Fred served his country in the U.S. Navy after high school and went on to be a barber. He had a love for cars so he eventually became a car sales man. For 24 years he worked at Jim Barnard Chevrolet in Churchville, NY until moving to St. Augustine.
He was preceded in death by his brother Martin Ruch. He is survived by his wife, Janice Ruch; a son, Martin F. Ruch (Julie); a sister, Betty Burgess (Chester); grandchildren, Alexander (Jennifer), Victoria and Nicholas; great granddaughter, Faith and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Grace United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory can be made to: Haven Hospice, 6400 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, FL. 32177, or to Grace United Methodist Church, 8 Carrera Street, St. Augustine, Florida.
