Fred Scognamillo Obituary
Born on April 22, 1943, in New Haven, CT, Fred attended Fairfield University and spent most of his life in Hamden, CT, where he was General Manager of Giering Metal Finishing. Upon his retirement in 2011, Fred and his wife moved to Bryn Mawr, PA.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife, Jane, his daughter Elizabeth Attig and her husband Brian, his son Christian, and his grandchildren, Cooper and Duncan.
Known as a man of few words, Fred was a steady presence and always there when family and friends needed him.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the many friends who supported them during this difficult time. They are especially grateful to Little Flower Manor for the peace and comfort provided to Fred in his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Flower Manor in Fred's memory. www.littleflowermanor.org
