Fred Edgar Scott

Fred Edgar Scott was born on December 20, 1971, a son to the late Fred Scott and the late Mildred (White) Scott. Fred passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, having reached the age of 53 years.

Fred was proud of his farm in Palmer, where he poured his heart and soul into the land. His dedication and love for the outdoors were evident to all who knew him. He is remembered for enjoying the simple pleasures of life, including hunting, fishing, and driving his side-by-side. Fred had a special talent for spending quality time with his friends, often cherishing moments spent together.

He leaves behind his brother, Wayne Scott; as well as, his nephew, Wayne Scott and Julie; and nieces: Laura Fluegge and Brian, Patty Scott, and Dawn. Fred also held a special friendship with Wanda Dicus, and he will be missed by many dear extended family and friends.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents: Fred and Mildred Scott.

Visitation will be held at DeClue Funeral Home on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 5 pm until 7 pm, and again on Tuesday, May 6, from 10 am until the time of his funeral service at 11 am. Interment and final prayers will follow at Palmer Cemetery in Belgrade, Missouri. 

Fred will be remembered with love and fond memories by all. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
