I miss them - a smile comes on my face when I remember our friendship that began in Port Au Price. Denise could really get down with the Ra-Ra bands!

I am so sorry to hear about Fred's passing - He always helped my client Hermano Pedro with their 990. I didn't know he passed away. Seemed like he had a great life - Shirt"Wonderful" memory - God Bless (David Fitzsimmons - [email protected])

2 lights in my life have disappeared. I could always count on a call to Denise and "hear" her smile. The laugh I loved. And Fred who I considered a "genius" - always the greatest discussions. I had "fun" anytime we met. They were in Guatemala - I went to visit and ended up going 4 times to study Spanish while they were there. Thru her work I donated to a village library where a PeaceCorps Volunteer was located. Later on a visit to California I saw the houses that Fred has designed. At their little apartment in Guatemala over several glasses of wine I was admiring a vase they had. Denise commenting that it was the only remaining piece they had from moving and me, in grabbing it to see it closer, broke it! Oh my - more wine. They always made such incredible friends where ever they went. I met so many people thru them. They touched so many lives wherever they lived. Much loved - Rest in peace.

What a pleasure it was to have discussions with my father-in-law, Fred Westcott, which usually either turned into a friendly debate or a deep exploration into the topic at hand. He was a scholar, erudite, and one of the most well-read people I have ever known. Always interested in the future, his pontification about space travel and life on other planets was thought-provoking. He was a loving father tio my wife and grandfather to my kid. He will be missed.
