Freda “Fritzi” Mae Craft, 80, passed away peacefully May 6, 2012.
She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, lived most of her life in the Ellet/Akron area where she had been employed as an administrative assistant at the University of Akron. Fritzi was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and Mogadore Moose #1082. She loved her family, her dog “Dollie” and water skiing.
Preceded in death by mother, Lura Virginia Russell Propst; father, Howard Propst; and brother, Howard “Fred” Propst. She is survived by her loving family, Jerry Wayne Russell and Neil M. Russell; sisters, Wanda “Peggy” Church, Elma Propst Semko; Carolyn J. Riley; brother, William C. Propst; many loving nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the staff at Maison Aine’ for their loving care and especially the friendships with Jennifer and Vickie.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Father Michael Williamson officiating. Burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. Thursday until service time.
