Freda Sue Hamilton, 78, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at her home in Clay City. She was born September 24, 1947 in Lee County, Kentucky to the late Otis and Learline Birkheimmer McClure. Survivors include, sons, Anthony Hamilton and Jody Hamilton, both of Clay City; daughters, Betty (Earl) Conner, Waco and Melissa Horn, Clay City; brothers, Bill McClure and Wayne McClure; sister Dorothy Brewer; grandchildren, Deoneven Hamilton, Aaron Conner, Coty Horn, Kory Conner, and Tommy Lee Johnson; great-grandchildren, Calvin Horn, Kori Conner, Annabelle Conner, Victorie Conner, Versai Conner, Kash Conner, Kaylee Barnett, Vedette Conner, and Jace Curry. Freda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, Barney McClure, JD McClure, Lorena Fugate, Betty Jean McClure, and Jackie Thacker; grandson, Cody Wayne Gamble. Services Tuesday, March 10, 2:00PM Full Gospel Lighthouse Church, Clay City by Bro. Sammy Faulkner. Visitation Tuesday 12-2pm. Burial in Clay City-Eaton Cemetery with Aaron Conner, Kory Conner, Earl Conner, Bill McClure, Rob McClure, and Dustin McClure. Honorary pallbearers serving, Dylan Fugate, Calvin Horn, Glenn Fugate, Doneven Hamilton, Matthew Hamilton, Tony Hamilton, and Ronnie Hill serving as pallbearers.
