Freda Mae Hursman, 82, of Cole Camp, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln. She was born on August 10, 1942, in Houstonia, Missouri, a daughter of Samuel and Fadeen (Willard) Garrison. She attended Forbes School near Sweet Springs through the eighth grade. On February 10, 1959, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Junior Lee Hursman. Freda worked at Burlington Manufacturing in Concordia making Levi's, International Shoe Factory in Sweet Springs, and Rival Manufacturing in Sweet Springs. She was a member of Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church of God in Cole Camp. She loved to farm and take care of her cows, chickens, and ducks. She is survived by her husband, Junior Hursman of the home and numerous nieces and nephews. Freda was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Fadeen Garrison, three sisters, Della Barnett, Nadean Rickey, and Corine Wallace, and five brothers, Alfred Garrison, Larry Garrison, Charles Garrison, Herbert Garrison, and Junior Garrison. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10. 2025, at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp. Burial will be in Cole Camp Cemetery near Cole Camp. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church of God in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, MO 65325.
