Freda Mae "Freddiemae" Smith, 76, of Mt. Holly, Arkansas, passed away on February 1, 2026, at her residence, The Springs of El Dorado.
Freda Mae Smith was born on October 6, 1949, in Mt. Holly, Arkansas. She was a graduate of New Hope High School in Mt. Holly, Class of 1967.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Governor and Julia Rufus of Mt. Holly, Arkansas, and her son, Andre Rufus.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters: Gloria Prentice of Pomona, California; Betty (Lige) Boone of Camden, Arkansas; Christian Johns of El Dorado, Arkansas; and Cassandra (Tyrone) Thigpen of El Dorado, Arkansas; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
