Freda Wanat Obituary
Freda Diane Wanat, age 68, passed away on August 31, 2025. She was born on June 22, 1957, to Andy and Annie Parton.
Freda is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Casey Wanat; her brother, Andy D. Parton; and her sisters, Ruth Fowler, Shirley Randolph, and Frankie Parton.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Wanat; her daughter, Anna Hubbard; her sisters, Lena Parton and Janey Lewis; and her grandchildren, Caroline Hubbard, Junie Hubbard, and Connor Hubbard.
Freda loved life and enjoyed many things. She was a big Lady Vols basketball fan and never missed a game if she could help it. She also loved the outdoors, especially camping and hiking. Watching NASCAR was another favorite pastime. Most of all, she was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother who cherished her family dearly.
