Freddie Bowles Obituary
Deacon Freddie A. Bowles of Fork Union, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 23, 2011. He was retired from Fluvanna County School system. He was preceded in death by his father, William Agee. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; four sons, Maurice, Lamont, Nathan and Jarrod; one daughter, DeAngela; and one step-daughter, Angie; his mother, Mary L. Bowles; four grandsons; eight granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; seven sisters; three brothers; two uncles; and a host of other family and friends. Viewing will be held on from 12 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Thomasson Fork Union Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Thessalonia Baptist Church, Fork Union, with the Reverend Robert Strothers officiating. Interment will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Fork Union. Professional service entrusted to Thomasson Funeral Home, Fork Union, Virginia.

To the family, you have my deepest sympathy. I was sad to hear of Fred's passing. I meet Fred when he worked at E.W. Thomas, he got the biggest kick in teasing my about NFL football teams.
