Mr. Freddie Lee Pelham, age 85, a resident of Polk City, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center surrounded by family. Mr. Pelham was born April 15, 1940, in Jackson County, Georgia to Fred F. and Rachel (Merritt) Pelham. He was a Polk County resident for over 70 years coming from Georgia. Freddie was a retired Automotive Mechanic (who worked at Gershman's Auto for many years). He enjoyed camping, tinkering around the garage and spending time with family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 47 years – Shirley Mae Pelham (2008); son – Ricky Pelham and brother – Nathan Pelham. Freddie is survived by his loving family, 2 sons – Joey Pelham and wife Melissa & Terry Pelham; sister – Darlene Pelham. There are no services at this time for Freddie Pelham.
