Freddie Lee "Blue" Williams, age 78 of Big Spring passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Visitation will be from 9 AM until 9 PM on Saturday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 7 PM on Sunday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 AM on Monday at Mount Bethel Baptist Church with burial at Trinity Memorial Park.
He was born on November 9, 1947 in Rosebud, TX to parents Lindy Williams and Dorothy (Miller) Green. Freddie was a lifelong resident of Big Spring where he met and married Delia (Jaure) Williams. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam and worked at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center for many years. Freddie enjoyed target shooting, loved to watch western movies and was a big Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is survived by his wife, Delia Williams of Big Spring; son, Freddie Williams, Jr. of Austin; daughter, Fulanie Williams of San Angelo; siblings: Donna Cole of Hobbs, NM, Buster Green of Big Spring, Lula Byrd of Desoto & Kathlyn Meeks of Killeen; step-daughters, Schriece O'Neal (Robert Evans) of Big Spring & Latoya Crisp (Terrence) of Abilene; step-son, Marcus O'Neal (Leslie) of Big Spring; as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Green & Lindy Williams; daughter, Sabrina Cuviello; siblings: Juan Earl Williams, Hubert Lindy Williams, Kay Frances Conner & Ernest Henry, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Robert Evans, De'Vontae Simpson, Terrence Crisp, Lawrence Byrd, Marcus O'Neal, Jeffrey Wright & Michael Cuviello.
