Frederick Bauer Obituary
Frederick was born in Sebewaing on August 29, 1925, to Albert and Emma (Wissner) Bauer. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School, finishing the 8th grade. He joined the United States Navy at the end of WWII. He married Alice Loeffler on April 15, 1955, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. He enjoyed farming on the family farm, going to church and spending time with his family. Frederick liked watching the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions.
Frederick is survived by his 3 children: Mark Bauer, James (Renee) Bauer and Carol Heidt; 4 grandchildren: Steven Heidt, Allison (Jordan) Dickson, Nicole Bauer and Alexis Bauer; and many nieces and nephews.
Frederick is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice on November 9, 2014; 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 3pm-8pm.
The funeral service will be Friday, March 7, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Pastor Michael Boyer will be officiating. Burial will be private in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
