Frederick "Fred" L. Bell Jr., age 70, of Rockbridge, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

He was born on March 30, 1955, to Frederick Sr. and Margaret (Holloway) Bell. Fred graduated from Richland Center High School in 1973 and dedicated more than 38 years to The Kraemer Company, where he was a valued and respected employee.

He was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing. His adventures took him far beyond Wisconsin, including memorable fishing and hunts for mule deer and elk in Colorado and Canada. Fred was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, and he especially enjoyed taking road trips to visit family.

Fred is survived by his father, Frederick Bell Sr.; three daughters, Jenny (Duane) Durst of Ironton, Franny (Scott) Bartels of Reedsburg, and Katie (Jacob) Moody of Reedsburg; two stepsons, Kyle and Cory Longo; eight grandchildren, Jordyn (Matthew) Melvin, Taylor Jones, Beau and Bronx Bartels, Brayden, Teagen, and Nolen Moody, Adrianna Longo; four great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Linda (Don) Bladl, Vickie (Tad) Bagby, Marvin (Shari) Bell, and Lora (Jack) Vierck.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Bell.

A Celebration of Fred's Life will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Noon at Turbo's in Hub City. The Clary Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family. www.clarymemorialfuneralhome.com
