Born in Cobleskill, NY on June 17, 1958 to Philip and Beverly (Pitt) Blake of Cherry Valley, NY, he lived a full life with family, friends, hobbies and a proud career at Colgate University.
Fred married Ann Cittadino on October 1, 2011 she survives him at home. He is also survived by sisters, Billie Giambrone of Rome, NY, Pamela Maine of Ilion, NY and Lorelyn Blake of Cherry Valley, NY. Also survived by stepdaughters Lisa Cittadino and her children, Rachel, Haley, Alexis and Hunter of Deansboro, NY and Carrie and Patrick Potter and their children, Courtney and Gracie of Clayville, NY and many nieces and nephews
He was pre deceased by his parents, grandparents, William and Margaret Pitt, grandparents, Willie and Vida Blake, daughter, Jamie Blake, son, William Blake, grandson, Carter Hartle and brothers, Philip Blake and Daniel Blake and many aunts and uncles.
A kind hearted man, Fred loved to lend a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors

A graveside service will be held in the Roseboom Cemetery at a future time and date, an announcement will be made once determined.
