Frederick Good Voice Elk, 56, New Town, formerly of Pine Ridge, SD, made his journey to the Spirit World on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at a Minot hospital. Fredrick Mason Good Voice Elk was born on June 5, 1969 in Pine Ridge, SD to Frank Good Voice Elk and Mary Rose Iron Teeth. His nicknames were "Jelly", "Jelly Bean", "Juice", and "Jelly Roll".
Fredrick is survived by his wife, Elaine Good Voice Elk of New Town, ND; daughter, Sara Rose Good Voice Elk and her children Iris Rose, Thunder, Stormy Rain; siblings, Rodrick "Rocky" Iron Teeth of Rapid City, SD, Kenneth (Miranda) Abel-Standing Soldier, Jr. of Rapid City, SD, Byron Good Voice Elk, and Serena Good Voice Elk; step-father, Kenneth Standing Soldier, Sr.; nieces, Kaitlyn Iron Teeth of Rapid City, SD and Natasha High Hawk; nephews, Joseph Flood of Scottsbluff, NE, Deon Iron Teeth, Cetan Standing Soldier, Anthony Standing Soldier and Michael Abel-Standing Soldier; aunts, Matilda Red Shirt of Denver, CO, and Velma Wounded Arrow-Sun Bear; cousins, Leo, Boy and Mona Little Moon, Stanley, Charlie and William Good Voice Elk, Kendra, Dana and Creighton Fast Horse, Suzanna and Nancy Sutton, Ted (Mona), Ray, Jessica and Alice Pedregon, Georgie Boy, Bertha, Alice and Robert Pacheco, Sis Big Crow; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Fredrick was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Good Voice Elk and Mary Rose Iron Teeth; brother, Abel Good Voice Elk; niece, Carmen Rose Iron Teeth; aunts, Georgianna Shot, Imogene Iron Teeth, Linda Pacheco and Irene Sutton; uncles, Leo Shot, Levi "Choppa" Iron Teeth, Freddy Iron Teeth, George Pacheco and Jimmy Sutton; grandmother, Mary Irene Sutton, Sterleen Sitting Hawk; aunt, Julie Shot To Pieces, and cousins, George Shot and Richard "Bitsy" Little Moon, Wakinyan Little Moon.
