Frederick J. "Fred" Endelman, 77, of Allison, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at the Waverly Health Center. A private family viewing will be held at Woodley Funeral Home in Allison. He will be laid to rest with a private family burial and military honors at the Allison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Cedar Valley Hospice. Woodley Funeral Home is caring for Fred and his family. Frederick John Endelman was born on November 2, 1947 on the family farm in Butler County, son of Fred and Minnie (Wix) Endelman. He graduated from Allison-Bristow High School class of 1965. Fred honorably served in the United States Army from 1967-1969. He returned to the family farm to milk cows, raise cattle and grow crops. In 1969 Fred married Robi Henrichs. To this union four children were born. Fred enjoyed camping, horse pulls, visiting Amish friends and attending horse sales. Most of all he loved spending time with his ten grandkids. Fred is survived by his wife, Robi Endelman of Allison, Iowa; children, John (Beth) Endelman, Jean (Jeremy) Stauffer, Joseph (Alyssa) Endelman and Jennifer (Ross) McWhirter; grandchildren: Macy, Wrigley, Jacob, John, Jorja, Anna, Henry, Isaac, Madelyn and Lily. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth (Pat) Feltus and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Laura (Duane) Wubbena and Norma (Darwin) Wubbena.
