Frederick FALL Obituary

FALL, Frederick Carl Passed away, on July 7, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in March 1941, he was raised in East Milton, Massachusetts, where he spent most of his life, before retiring to Monument Beach.

Fred served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and carried that quiet strength and discipline throughout his life. After his service, he graduated from Boston College. He spent his early career with Brooks Brothers and Bethlehem Steel and later served over 18 years as a purchasing agent within the Massachusetts State University System.

Known for his generosity, loyalty and warmth, Fred was always ready with a story, a smile or a helping hand. He found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially time shared with friends and family. He also had a deep love for his dogs, most recently Hunter, his canine companion for the past six years.

He was the son of the late John G. Fall and Rose A. (Barker) Fall. Fred was predeceased by his sister, Elinor (Fall) McNulty; brothers, John F. Fall and Peter G. Fall; and his longtime partner, Marcia Ross. He is survived by his loving brother, William Fall, along with many devoted nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and close friends who will miss him dearly.

All are cordially invited to a Visitation period from 9:00am to 9:30am, at the Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 584 Rt. 28A, WEST FALMOUTH, on Monday, July 14. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Rd., Pocasset, MA, at 10:00am. Burial with Military Honors to follow at Oakland Grove Cemetery, Bourne. Fred's long time love Marcia Ross was my cousin. He was wonderful to her and they made a loving couple. I'm sad to hear of his death but no they will meet in heaven.
