Frederick William Hallett devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Frederick William Hallett 97 died on Wednesday February 4th, 2026 at home with his family by his side.
Frederick married Dolores ”Dolly” Hallett 66 years ago. The two were each other's lifelong companions and friends, they were blessed with 8 children. Frederick William served in the United State Army from 1950-1953 with 8 months served in Korea. Frederick William then began his career as a house painter, working for the Milwaukee Painters Local 781 for 30 years. Frederick William coached 3 of his daughters in softball league for many years. He was an avid golfer, but he also enjoyed fishing and canoeing, and spending time with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
Frederick William is survived by his children Richard (Carol) Brunke, Melody (James) Joyce, Debby (Rich) Krause, Dennis (Debra) Brunke, Patty (Dale) Knight, Kelly Hallett, Cherie (Glen) Bringe, Frederick Hallett Jr. Frederick William is also survived by his grandchildren Billy (Lisa) Swartwout, Jamie (David) Lally, Kari Swartwout, Wendy (Josh) Roder, Crystal (Corey) Montiho, Beau (Jasmine) Brunke, Michael, Brian Joyce, Amy (Clint) Groves, Stephanie Svoboda, Nick (Jill) Dequardo, Danielle Brunke, Jacob Knight, Bradley (Jessica) Knight, Cory (Jamie) Millikin, Tylor Hallett, Mitchell, Matthew, Elizabeth Bringe, and Austin (Lindsey) Hallett, and 19 great grandchildren. Frederick William was preceded in death by his loving wife Dolores “Dolly” Hallett, his parents, brothers and sisters and his granddaughter Patty Joyce.
Visitation Tuesday February 17th, from 4-6 pm at The Schramka Funeral Home, 13220 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, WI 53005. The burial for immediate family only will be Wednesday, February 18th, at 11am at The Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
