Frederick E. Heimbruch

Peacefully, and surrounded by his family, Frederick E. Heimbruch, age 85, of New London, Wisconsin, passed away at home, on Sunday, December 14, 2025 after a lengthy illness. He was born on April 15, 1940 in Lebanon, Wisconsin to the late Louis and Eleva (Feathers) Heimbruch and he married Judy Knispel on October 7, 1961 at the Royalton Church.

After graduating from high school, Frederick went on to work at Hillshire in the plant, eventually driving truck over the road for them and retiring after 45 years of service. In his free time he loved fishing and hunting, and his dodge truck. Frederick was a master tinkerer who loved to fix things and hated to throw anything away. He loved creating fishing jigs and woodworking projects and he liked spending time at the Hodag Country Music Festival. He and Judy enjoyed traveling together; at times throughout the country. Above all else, Frederick loved spending time with family.

Frederick is survived by his loving wife, Judy; children, Tammie (Cliff) Schmidt, and Frederick Jr.; grandchildren, Jamie (Kevin) Schwerdtfeger; great-grand children, Kody and Mason; and siblings, Phillip Heimbruch and Gloria Schultz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Eleva; his brothers, Louis Jr. and Everett; and other family members.

The Memorial Service for Frederick will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Royalton Christian Church in Royalton, Wisconsin, with Pastor Tom Theama as celebrant. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
