Frederick William Langkam, Sr., 65, of Glen Rock, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Born on October 16, 1958, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late John Lewis Langkam II and Mary Elizabeth Hauf Langkam.
Frederick was a self-employed contractor before spending many years as a cross-country truck driver. He enjoyed being outdoors and his motorcycle.
Surviving him are children: Tiffany Langkam and significant other Ryan Harmon, Frederick W. Langkam, Jr. and fiancée Brittany Sanders, grandchildren: Carter Harmon, Tanner Langkam, and Braelyn Langkam. Along with the mother of his children, Terry Eckert Langkam. He is also survived by his siblings: John L. Langkam III, Patricia Campbell, George "Ted" Langkam and wife Sue, Russell Langkam and wife Kathleen, Cathy Day, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frederick was predeceased by his siblings: Linda Utz and Doug Langkam, brothers-in-law: William Utz, Charles Campbell, Jim Day, and sisters-in-law: Sharon Langkam and Renata Langkam.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 7, from 2-3 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a memorial service will begin at 3 pm, with Rev. Scott Sager officiating.
Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Shriners Children's, Shriners Children's, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394.

Fred was our youngest brother, he is now at peace and can meet with Dad, Mom, Sister Lynda, and Brother Doug along with numerous family members gone before him. Rest in peace Brother you brought joy to our lives even when your health was declining. You were loved.
