Frederick Bernard Lesher Jr.

Beloved husband and father, Fred Lesher, Jr. died suddenly on July 19th. He is survived by his wife, Ramona Lesher, and was predeceased by his son, Freddy Lesher, III. Born and raised in Colwyn, he graduated from Darby Colwyn High School in 1975. He was active on local sports teams during his youth and young adult life and was a coach for many of his son's sports activities. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board for 26 years, retiring in 2008. He was involved in borough politics for a number of years, serving on Colwyn Council and for a short time as the president. He also was actively involved with the Darby Creek clean up both participating in the cleanup and contributing to make the creek debris free. In later years, he enjoyed being at the track to watch harness racing and being with all the friends he made there. Donations can be made to a charity of choice.
