Frederick W. Lort

Frederick W. Lort of Wilson, NY, husband of Sandra Gladow Lort entered into rest on February 12, 2026, at home, He was born in Wilson, NY on September 9, 1941, the son of the late Frederick W. Lort and Ruth Currie Lort. Fred worked as a Chemistry Supervisor at Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital in Buffalo, and as a Med Tech and Manager at ICMH in Newfane. He enjoyed family get-togethers, going to the casino, ice cold PBR, hunting, fishing and was a member of the Wilson Conservation club and Wilson Fire Co.

Father of Timothy Lort, Geoffrey (Emily) Lort and the late James Lort. Grandfather of Madison Lort. Brother of Bruce (Lori) Lort and the late Daniel (Mary) Lort, Bonnie Michaels and William (Donna) Lort. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 12-1pm where a memorial service will be held at 1pm.
