Frederick Neely Obituary

Frederick passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016. Frederick was a resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia at the time of his passing. He joined the submarine service at the age of 17 and served on two diesel submarines before obtaining a commission and moving on to the Nuclear Submarine Navy. He was married to Susan. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday Oct. 12 2016 at Colonial Grove Memorial Park at the corner of Princess Anne Rd. and Dam Neck Rd. in Virginia Beach.

Fred was a wonderful volunteer at the VirginiaMarine Science Museum serving on the Wednesday morning shift. It is with great sadness that we just learned of his death this November 5. We all send our sympathy to his wife and children.

I worked with Fred at the golf course , fine gentleman he was.True he truly enjoyed nature and being outdoors. Never got to shoot with him , but enjoyed listening to story's of competition and matches. Sorry for the family's loss . He will be missed by many that had the pleasure of his company I'm sure .
