Frederick K. Wallace, aged 76, passed away peacefully at home on December 4, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia. He was born on February 22, 1949, in Hawaii to the late Ruby and Thomas Wallace. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Kalani Wallace.

Frederick proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and Desert Storm, dedicating 20 years to his nation before retiring with honor. Following his distinguished military career, he hcontinued to contribute to the maritime community as a rigger for Norshipco, where he worked for another two decades until his final retirement.

In his well-earned retirement, Frederick embraced his love for the great outdoors, finding solace and adventure in camping trips. He particularly enjoyed visiting military sites during his travels, combining his passion for history with his love of nature. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. A man of many talents, Frederick also delighted in playing the ukulele and could dance the hula, bringing joy and laughter to those around him.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of 48 years, Bobbye A. Wallace; his daughter, Joelle Ladoux; his stepson, Jeff Holcomb; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Teuila Elliott; and many extended relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

In accordance with his wishes, Frederick's ashes will be released into the Pacific Ocean, a fitting tribute to a man whose life was so deeply connected to the sea.
