Frederick Lee Williams, 68, passed away peacefully at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky, on Monday, November 03, 2025. He was born on May 22, 1957, in Winchester, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father, Cornell Haliburton; his mother, Maggie Williams Ramage; and his brother, Rodney Williams.
He is survived and deeply missed by his beloved wife, Gloria Jean Williams. He leaves behind four children: three sons-Antonio (Pedro) with his wife Melissa Connor, Sam Juan Connor, and Steven (Jackie) Connor-and one cherished daughter, Sharell Connor.
Fredrick also leaves behind 12 cherished grandchildren: Sam Juan Connor Jr., Deandre Bellows, Jazzrielle Wilson, Samiyah Connor, Lamon'Dae Connor, Tony Wright III, LaDon'tae Connor, Samone Connor, Ty'Onna Connor, Ta'Niyah Connor, Shy'an Connor, and Elijah Connor. His great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, are Samyr Connor, Karter Holts, Kaliyah Holts, Niyah Updike, and Island Updike.
Grandfather to six bonus grandchildren: Towa and Cherrish Lyvers, Claynesia Mayberry, Jason, Isaiah, and Rosemary Williams.
Fredrick is fondly remembered by his three sisters-Donna Williams, Connie (Daryl Piersawl), Anne Williams-and his brother, Gaither Halliburton. He was also a loving brother-in-love to Vanessa Connor and Sheree Harris, and an esteemed uncle to many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
As the matriarch of the Williams family, his Aunt Nannie (Dykie) Reed and countless friends and loved ones mourn his loss. Special friend to him and his wife, Pat Demps.
Six best friends that was by his side for sixty years, Luther Williams, Henry Mack, Fred Bates, Robert Bell, Ronald Skinner, and Roylee Cheanault.
Fredrick was a man of few words but a heart full of kindness. His passion for cooking brought warmth and togetherness to his family and friends, whether at church functions or caring for those in need. He exemplified a servant's heart-always willing to help, always generous with his love.
His legacy of love, compassion, and service will forever remain in our hearts.
A funeral service honoring Frederick's life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Main Street Baptist Church, 582 West Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky, 40507. Pastor Victor G.
