Fredericka Campbell

Fredericka Campbell was born on December 21, 1961, in Whiteville, North Carolina, to the late Herman E. and Edith G. Campbell. She spent her early childhood in Chadbourn, NC, where she accepted Christ at a young age and became a member of First Missionary Baptist Church.

Fredericka was educated in the Columbus County school system and graduated from West Columbus High School in Cerro Gordo, NC. She continued her studies at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC.

Answering a call to serve, Fredericka dedicated the early part of her career to the United States Army. She proudly served her country for twenty years, earning an Honorable Discharge upon retirement. Her commitment to service continued as she worked for the federal government at Fort Bragg, NC, as a contract employee. During this time, she made her home in Spring Lake, NC.

Later in life, Fredericka relocated to Denver, NC, a suburb of Charlotte, to be closer to family and friends. She lived a life marked by generosity, compassion, and a genuine love for people. She found joy in helping others, traveling the world, and spending meaningful time with her family.

Fredericka leaves to cherish her memory three sisters: Sheila C. Powell (Ervie) of Whiteville, NC, Carolyn C. Barnes (James) of Wilson, NC, and E. Darlene Campbell of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Craig B. Campbell (Lakesha) of Harrisburg, NC; one uncle, Brady Graham (Martha Virginia) of Sarasota, Fla ; a sister in law, Linda G. Campbell of Elkton, MD; a caring neighbor, Cornell "Reese" Smith of Denver,NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.

Her life was a testament to service, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Harrisburg, NC. The visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. - 1:30 P.M. followed by the funeral service at 1:30 P.M. Lamb Funeral Home Inc. will be serving the family.
