Istivan Curtis Douglas

Istivan Douglas, 68, of Concord, NC., Passed away peacefully at his residence on March 9, 2026.

he was born to parents Frances Douglas Wright and the late George Ford, on February 19, 1958, in Concord, NC. Istivan was a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School.

Istivan was preceded in death by his father, George Ford; brother, Algar Avon Douglas; sister, Theresa Johnson; step-father, Kelly Wright; maternal grandmother, Aggerline Smith; and paternal grandmother, Essie Ford.

Istivan is survived by his daughter LaVonda Douglas of Concord, NC., grandchildren Alexis Walker and Brach Walker; mother Frances Wright; brothers Kevin Douglas, Clinton Douglas (Ursula), Kenneth Douglas (Mary), Corey Spears, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Istivan was known for his lve of being handy by working on things either building or rebuilding. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan.

He will be missed by all of those that knew him and loved him. There will be a missing link in the family chain that can never be replaced. There will never be another person like him.
