Michael McClamrock Obituary
August 8, 1956 - October 9, 2025
Michael "Mike" Joe McClamrock, age 69, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
A memorial service celebrating Mike's life will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 6 p.m., in the Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel with visitation following, officiated by Jim Strickland.
Born on August 8, 1956, in Concord, North Carolina, Mike was the son of the late Clara Yvonne Hagler McClamrock and Larry Joe McClamrock. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynn Simpson McClamrock; and his brother, Alex Lane McClamrock.
Mike lived a life defined by hard work and deep devotion to those he loved. A proud graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School, he went on to dedicate 41 years to PSNC Gas Company (now Enbridge), where he became a trusted field customer representative and a familiar, friendly face throughout the community.
Mike lived a full life and was known for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, coworker, friend, and neighbor. He was proud of the family he created with his late wife, Lynn Simpson McClamrock, the love of his life. He enjoyed Sunday dinners, late night UNO games, and annual beach trips. He also loved spending many days golfing with his best buddies.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amanda L. McClamrock (Lamont); son, Mitchell McClamrock (Amanda); brothers, Mark McClamrock (Terry) and niece Chelsea, Randy McClamrock (Isabell) and nephews: Andrew, Adam and Seth. Grandchildren, Malia, Myonna, Hayden, Haylee, Bubba, and Hunter; and one great-grandson.
Mike was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by many. He left this life dancing his way, sharing a final, joyful moment moving to the music - a small celebration of life that perfectly reflected his spirit, leaving his loved ones with a cherished memory full of love and joy.
He will forever be our Spirit in the Sky.

Although my husband and I didn´t know Mike very well, it was a blessing to have him as a neighbor for so many years. His presence in our little corner of the world will be missed. Rest in peace. And our prayers and condolences to his family in which we know he truly cherished.
