Fredrick "Fred" Florentino Montez

Fredrick “Fred” F. Montez, age 61, a resident of
Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 27, 2026.

Fred is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Yvonne Montez; mother, Lia Montez; siblings, Carmela Montez, and James Montez; niece, Kayla Montez-Villescas and wife, Angelica; Godson, Phillip Contreras; special cousins, Peter and Paul Tapia; Ida Martinez, sister in law Stephanie “Kid” Florez and husband Mario Perez; brother in law Rolando Florez and wife Michelle Sanchez; niece Danica Florez; Godchildren, Amanda and Spencer
Towler; his fur baby, “Flossie”; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred, “Tino” Montez, brother, David Montez and Mother in Law, Maria Socorro Martinez.

Services for Fred will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
