Freida Ard Bryant, 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Freida was born on October 10, 1950, in Macon, Georgia. Born to the late Arthur and Alice Kitchens Ard.
Freida deeply loved her husband, Dennis Bryant of 52 years; her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was given the name, “Nana” by her grandchildren, which she took great delight in. Freida had a life based on faith, commitment, and kindness. With the exception of Christmas, Elvis Presley, and her kitties, she loved nothing more than watching her kids and grandkids play baseball, softball, and dance.
Her memory will forever live on by her husband, Dennis Carson Bryant, Sr.; her children, Sean Van Bryant, Amanda Bryant Mason (Jon), Dennis “Denny” Carson Bryant, Jr. (Melissa), and Adam Michael Bryant; her grandchildren, Jessica Flanders, MaKensie McElmurray, Kaleb Bryant, Keely Bryant, Carson Bryant, Ashley Hays (Cory), and Evan Mason (Miller); her great-grandchildren, Zayden Martin and John Michael Mason; her brothers, Dennis Ard and Wayne Ard; as well as a host of beloved extended family members and friends.
Freida was proceeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Alice Ard; her in-laws, Loyd and Ellie Mae Bryant; and her brother, Larry Ard.
Freida will be remembered for her devotion, her joy in life and her amazing love for family. Everyone who knew and loved her will miss her terribly.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Freida will be laid to rest in Parkview Memorial Gardens.
