FREIDA W. MOISANT
June 14, 1917 ˜ April 6, 2023
Our beloved mother Freida passed away peacefully on April, 6 2023, at the age of 105 in Vancouver, WA.
Freida was born in Lenore, ID, and moved as a child to the Camas/Washougal area, where she attended grade school and graduated from Camas High School. She married Robert Moisant Sr, in June 1935 and made a home in Camas and later moving to Vancouver in 1954. They had three sons and two daughters.
Freida worked for the Clark County Auditor’s Office, Columbia Machine and the U.S. Army at Vancouver Barracks and later at AFEES Recruiting Station in downtown Portland. She retired from the Army with 21 years Civil Service.
Freida was a long-time member of The Catholic Daughters of America and The Daughters of Union Veterans.
Freida was known as a “go getter” and no matter how many aches and pains she had she was always ready to show up for whatever the day may present.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Moisant Sr; baby, Joan Moisant, and Robert Moisant Jr. Freida is survived by two sons, Bill Moisant, Lee Moisant; and one daughter, Julie Huson; daughters-in-law, Peri, Judy and Shelley.
She had four grandsons, Jean-David Moisant (Angela), Michel Moisant-Thompson (Jon), Zach Moisant (Blair) and Nick Moisant, along with numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on April 25, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 400 S. Andresen Road at 11 a.m. Rosary preceding at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers we suggest donations to St. Vincent De Paul Society or ARC of Southwest Washington.

Dear Family of Freida,
I met Freida while driving for Cvan. I took her to Church.
That was in 2016. I had no idea she was Well into her nineties. She was like a little Porcelain Doll , but apparently Tough as Nails. 105 yrs old, God Bless you Freida.
She was Loved By All.
She Touched My Life~ Thank You for Sharing her with Us.

Freida was the mother-in-law to my brother Steve, who was married to Freida's daughter, Julie. We had so many wonderful family gatherings and celebrations. My condolences to the Moisant family. Freida will always hold a special place in my heart.

I had the privilege of meeting Freida when she came in to see Angie at the salon. She was a vibrant person and I enjoyed hearing some of her stories. Rest in peace Freida.

I adored Freida! I met her in 2011 when I bought the hair salon she attended. I saw her every week to do her hair and nails. We became fast friends! I looked forward to seeing her, and even started walking her home after her appointment each week. I cherished the time we would spend, listening to her stories from her life. I loved her dearly. I am a richer person for having known her. I will miss her, but she is finally reunited with the love of her life. RIP Freida!
