Frieda Kennedy

Frieda Kennedy, age 72, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on February 16, 2026, after an extended illness. Frieda was a long-term employee of Delta Airlines, and as a world traveler, she lived a fun and adventurous life. Her travels took her on an African safari, to the Pearl Markets of Beijing, a camel ride in Egypt, the Taj Mahal in India, and, most recently, on a hot air balloon ride in Turkey, as well as many other places around the globe. She was much loved by her family and by the scores of friends she made all over the country. Frieda was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, to the late L.N. Kennedy and Helen (Williamson) Kennedy.

Graveside services were held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Benefield Cemetery with Bro. Steve Kennedy officiating.

She is survived by her sister, Jackie Price, of Mt. Juliet; her brother, Robert Kennedy, of Lewisburg, TN; her niece, Lily Price; her nephews, RJ Price and Sebastian Kennedy; as well as other extended family members and many friends.
